A day in the life
I am a mama to a sweet little toddler who has me wrapped around his little finger, as well as a brand new baby who is all smiles! We spend most of our time out and about, whether that be on trips to the aquarium, playing at Disneyland, or picking up balloons & other various decor! My toddler loves to help me cook, and is such a ball of energy! My hubby is a graphic designer and works from home, which is so nice because we are able to see each other throughout the day!
How did Fairy Dust Balloons begin?
Great question! Let me tell you.
I managed restaurants for 6 years, and also worked as an event planner & coordinator in my free time. COVID-19 closed down the restaurant I was working for, and all events came to a halt. I brainstormed during all my newfound downtime, and came up with a few different ideas. I knew I wanted to help people, and that I loved celebrating all of those special little moments even more now that a global pandemic had shifted my perspective, but I wasn’t positive what that would look like. I saw a lot of pop-up events happening, which seemed so cool! I watched as people grew their little businesses, and decided that if they could do it, I should give it a try too!
I saw a girl start a balloon business out of her garage, using a U-Haul to transport her decor, and figured I could try that out and see how it went! It definitely took a lot of learning, growth, and a few tears, but I love everything about bringing magic to life, and can’t wait to see what the future has in store!
